Worth knowing
The licence fee is small for bikes — it's MII that dominates, priced on rider injury risk. Renewal, payment, transfer and the 3-month lapse rule all work exactly as for cars: renewal, payment options, expiry rules. Shorter 3 and 6-month terms and the monthly direct debit are available with the usual pro-rata maths — run yours through the calculator.
